Born in 1995 in Hokkaido, Japan. Higo seeks blind spots in circulated information. His work“phantom islands mislabeled on Google Maps” and “nonexistent English words,” attempts   to examine the glitch-like events and situations that are created by society and individuals either accidentally or intentionally. In recent years, he has been creating works focusing on the structures that support “standards” and “storage”.

1995年北海道生まれ。アーティスト。「Google Map上に誤記載された幻島」や「実在しない英単語」など、流通する情報における盲点を遺物と捉え、社会や個人が無自覚にまたは意図的につくりだす事象や状況を考察し新たなかたちでの継承を試みている。近年は、「基準」や「貯蔵」を支える構造に焦点を当てた作品を制作している。
